To Fast or Not to Fast?

The opposition against Christ continues to heat up, and now the prime culprits, the Pharisees, think they have Jesus in a theological corner. "Our disciples practice fasting, even the disciples of John the Baptist do this, but yours do not?" Our Lord's response follows a familiar pattern as He brings the Word of God to bear on the traditions of men, demonstrating once again the supremacy of His authority.
