Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus

Many of us are familiar with the fact that the birth of Jesus Christ was an event that had been predicted many times and many years before it happened. Such a monumental event was the birth of Christ that even 700 years before there were lessons to be learned for the nation of Israel just expecting that He would one day come. How much more do we have to learn from these ancient promises now that we are on the other side of His Incarnation?
