The Call

Do you know what this is?

It’s an elk call, do you know what I use this for?

I can use it to sound like a baby or girl elk, I can use it to sound like a bull elk, I can use it to sound like a a turkey too. As a hunter I use it to call animals into where I am so I can provide dinner for my family. 

Did you know that God calls us in a similar way? He shows us His love and grace and motivates us to spread his love with the gifts that He gives us. He convicts us to stay with Him and to love one another and help one another. Or He even calls us to ask for His forgiveness and forgive one another. He does all of this without even needing to make an actual sound like I do when I hunt. Isn’t that something!!
